I think for the last half a decade, my favorite wardrobe essential of all time is probably my trusty leather jacket. Finding and styling your perfect leather jacket makes you feel powerful in an edgy kind of way. The most versatile thing about a good quality jacket is that you can wear it with anything to dress it up or down. For a while, I had jackets in several colors and styles. But when I had my garage sale in the summer, I have since condensed my wardrobe.
Some of my favorite leather jackets are my AllSaints Balfern leather jacket (which is the one I'm wearing) and one of my Zara leather jackets (similar ones here and here). The best part of investing in a quality piece is that they last for years to come. There are many different styles nowadays ranging in prices high to low. A really fun buy would be a leather jacket with fringe details along the sleeves. I keep imagining how fun it would be to wear a leather jacket with fringe and throw my arms up in the air in a convertible with the top down. But one dream at a time, Ada.. one dream at a time.
